Handmade from skilled artisans, this woven tote market bag is made from an all-natural, plant-dyed cactus fiber and has two leather over the shoulder straps.
In a washed indigo blue with dark straps, this reusable bag is perfect for groceries, a beach trip or really anything that requires an on-the-go bag.
Modern design meets traditional methods and each bag takes many steps to complete. From harvesting the cacti fiber to botanically dying each color, these totes are unlike any other.
Equally as awesome, each bag helps keep tradition alive, supporting a woman-led collective in remote Ecuador.

About Minga's artisan partners:
Partnering with a lively, deeply talented group of 18 women in remote Ecuador, they use over 30 steps to create one bag. From harvesting this mountain cactus to dying the fiber with native barks, berries, and flowers, each bag is one-of-a-kind, and more importantly, keeping the tradition alive.
Every Minga bag has been ethically sourced for a mutually agreed upon, direct trade price and provides work to our artisan partners, a collaborative group of 18 women living in a remote region of Ecuador.
