About De La Fuente
When we asked Kara Fuentes about the inspiration behind DLF, her story involves solo travels around the world, from Morrocco to Vietnam and beyond, before discovering her passion for jewelry and millinery in Mexico.
As Kara says, "I adore history and the old world elegance, and reflect that love into most of my designs and styles."
Meeting a milliner in Oaxaca, she started learning to design and press hats. Fast forward to present day, DLF's collection of jewelry and hats capture a nostalgic romance that reminds us of slow days exploring winding streets, art, cafes and food, soaking up beauty and inspiration that travel so effortlessly delivers.

Fast shipping
Our goal is to process and ship orders within 1-2 business days. We’re still a tiny team, but we're pumped to have you as a customer and we know you're excited to get our goods!
Order tracking
You will receive a shipment notification via email or sms with your tracking number as soon as we send the package, but as always, if you have any questions give us a shout.
Returns
We accept returns that are in good condition and have not been damaged or used. Please return within 30 days for a full refund, less shipping.

Who's behind the screen at Confidants?
Hi, hey, hello - Fenny here, I'm one of two people building this dream! I launched Confidants back in 2018, read more about the journey. In late 2020, I asked my very talented friend to join me. She currently has a full time job, so we're keeping it on the DL, but we hope to go full-time & hire a team soon! Know any angel investors? Drop us a line ;)
